Canon marca la diferencia

Que hoy por hoy Canon es el referente de la fotografía réflex digital poca gente lo pone en duda. Pero a partir de hoy ha dado un paso más allá.

Si en el segmento medio de este tipo de cámaras tenía un duro rival en la nikon d200 (más cara y mejor que la 30d y más barata e inferior a la 5d), el nuevo lanzamiento de la nueva 40d, que presumiblemente será más barata, provocará un boom en el mercado, llevándose en mi opinión a gran parte de los usuarios aficcionados exigentes y por qué no a un buen número de profesionales, bien como segundo cuerpo, o primero para aquellos que no puedan amortizar fácilmente algo superior.

Por lo pronto la nueva 40d será mi futura cámara. Después de mucho deliberar y casi decidido a lanzarme a por la 5d, el precio de la primera, acompañado de una más que notable mejora del actual modelo 30d, me han hecho cambiar de opinión. Si me decidía por una 5d era por llegar a tener más angular a la hora de entrar al agua, pero mi recién adquirido tokina 10-17 creo que cumplirá con mis necesidades actuales. Si en un futuro necesito un salto de calidad, siempre se podrá cambiar más adelante. Pero como aún me queda mucho por aprender, el precio de la 40d y del tokina me parece más razonable para mi.

Ya he reservado una en fotocentro para cuando lleguen, así que ansioso estoy de que lleguen finales de septiembre/principios de octubre, que será cuando comiencen a llegar.

Además he hablado con el fabricante de aquatech, y la combinación de la carcasa para una 30d (me figuro que no tardarán en sacar una para la 40d) junto a la cúpula correspondiente al canon 15mm fisheye, es válida para mi tokina a 10mm.

Creo que para estas navidades es posible que pueda pedirme una (depende de lo que me cuesten las revisiones del coche y que no surjan imprevistos). 1495$ (unos 1100€) la carcasa. 395$ (unos 300€) la cúpula, y otros tantos (395$) la pistola.

Mientras tanto probaré el tokina a 13mm en la ewa marine, que es la focal a partir de la cual no hay viñeteo.

Siguiendo con las novedades de Canon, se ha anunciado la 1Ds Mark III, una bestia de 21 Mpx que rondará los 8000€. Una verdadera burrada. Si esta marca ya no tenía competencia en este segmento, ahora puede decirse que hasta podría codearse con alguna cámara de formato medio. Pero bueno, el número de usuarios a la que va dirigida es muy reducido.

Por último se anuncia un nuevo objetivo, el canon 14mm f2.8 L II, que valdrá nada más y nada menos que unos 2000€. En fin, que esta aficción es una ruina,jajaja.

Creo que has elegido bien, es la mejor opción que tienes ahora, sin tener que dejarte un dineral. Eso si, lo de la carcasa me sigue pareciendo una pasada...

Y chaval, no me gusta la guerra de marcas, pero eso de que la Nikon D200 es mejor que la Canon 30D... depende del uso que le des, ya sabes, ISO UP!! :-D Y en condiciones "normales" son poco más o menos...

Lo de las "mark" es otro mundo tio, si alguna vez puedo hacerme con una, ese día será grande... jejeje
